She’s edging closer to a huge admission.
Following tonight’s dramatic EastEnders episode, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) is almost ready to reveal her secret to her love interest Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) (26th September).
Since an altercation with a family friend, Ranveer Gulati (Anil Goutam), that resulted in his death after Ranveer attempted to sexually assault Suki, the character has been troubled. Suki is unaware that Ranveer was still alive when his son Ravi (Aaron Thiara) showed up to take over.
When Ravi was alone with his father, he felt threatened and delivered the fatal blow before disposing of the body. Then, while remaining silent about his true role in what happened, Ravi took action to keep an eye on a defenseless Suki.
Eve, who was growing increasingly worried about Suki, discovered her wandering around the Square in her nightgown after she left her apartment in the middle of the night. The trainee GP brought Suki and Eve to the surgery to figure out what was wrong before Eve took Suki to her daughter Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha).
She asked why the location had been unlocked at such an early hour as Ranveer’s wife, Doctor Nina Gupta (Hersha Verity), arrived. In an effort to encourage Suki to open up, Ash told Eve she would like to give Suki some one-on-one time with Nina.
Suki received sleeping pills from Nina, and after Eve brought Suki home, Ravi, who was visibly concerned, questioned Suki about her health. Ravi remained silent about his own guilt despite Suki’s icy reminder that she had experienced this as a result of someone else’s murder.
While this was going on, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) approached Kheerat (Jaz Deol), Suki’s son, and said hello. Then, in light of the earlier incident, he inquired after Suki. Ravi informed Kheerat that Suki had started sleepwalking and that he had simply forgotten to lock the front door after Kheerat approached him without any knowledge of the situation.
But Eve kept worrying about the woman she loved so much, so she went back to see Suki. Eve told Suki that she knew something was very wrong and that she knew she needed to talk to her and that she wouldn’t leave until Suki said something.
Will Suki choose to tell Eve the whole truth, and will Ravi’s deceptions ever come to light?
