An inventory of all those lost in the Emmerdale storm
What number of Emmerdale residents have passed away this week, and is anyone else leaving?
The villagers are embroiled in the biggest plotline of the year as Emmerdale celebrates its 50th birthday.
On Sunday, October 16th, the action began as the characters battled a deadly storm that tore through the farm.
On Saturday, October 22, a special Saturday night episode of the program is scheduled to wrap up the proceedings.
Who else is leaving Emmerdale, and how many people have passed away there? Learn everything…
Who has died in the Emmerdale Storm?
Harriet Finch
The first victim of the storm was Katherine Dow Blyton’s Harriet Finch, who was run over by her quad bike.
The beloved character initially set out in search of Daisy Campbell’s (Daisy Campbell’s) pregnant Amelia Spencer, who had given birth during the storm.
Kim Tate (Claire King), who had just gotten married, went in search of her as well, but Harriet fell in the woods and got trapped by her quad bike.
When Kim located Harriet, she was able to set her free, but a lightning strike knocked them both unconscious and killed Harriet.
I loved playing the vicar and the fact that she was flawed and a little eccentric, Katherine said to The Sun after leaving the soap opera.
“I adored the character and her sense of humor. She is obviously with me, but I will miss playing her very much. There’s not much separating us.”
Liv Flaherty
When Liv (Isobel Steele), who was pinned up against a wall by a caravan caught in the wind, died, she was the second character to perish.
The character of Vinny, played by Bradley Johnson, was compelled to say his last goodbyes as she left in front of him.
Emmerdale posted a video of Isobel saying it’s been the “best seven years of her life” after Liv’s tragic final scenes.
“Hey everyone, I assume you’ve now watched the episode where Liv’s died,” Isobel says in the video. I hope it brought you to tears. It was a pleasure to read, and I definitely shed a few tears.
“I’ve had the best seven years of my life, and you made it all worthwhile. So much appreciation to you!”
Who else in Emmerdale could pass away?
The death toll would not end with Harriet and Liv, according to director Tim O’Mara, who previously revealed that up to eight people could perish.
He said, “No one is safe,” in a statement to ITV Yorkshire. Eight or nine of the characters might not stick around for very long.
We do make several trips to the hospital because of the numerous incidents of accidents in the woods and tree falls on people as well as the numerous injuries caused by debris flying around the village.
Massive accidents have occurred at the farm, which may draw the interest of one or more characters.
And two of the other characters will be involved in a huge problem in the village.
Sam Dingle
Sam Dingle (James Hooton) was impaled on a digger’s spikes after becoming entangled in a stampeding herd of cows.
Though he appears to be recovering after being taken to the hospital with his life in jeopardy, could his health deteriorate?
James, an actor, even hinted that his persona might be killed off in a Tweet asking, “Did anything happen in @emmerdale tonight?”
Regarding his bloody scene, he continued, “Feel like I’ve been spiked.” Fans were alarmed by his final Tweet, which included the phrase “Ok… You’re supposed to throw the javelin, not stand on it, I understand. ME DEAD funny
Samson Dingle
The villagers discovered Samson was missing and hadn’t been seen for a few days in the episode that aired Thursday night.
Viewers could see the messages coming through the teenager’s broken phone as Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) sent him a text message.
Fans of the show are convinced that he has been killed in a shocking turn of events following the gruesome scenes.
One person commented, “Samson will be dead and then it will come out that he’s not the real dad of Amelias baby.”
Someone else remarked: “I think Samson got hit and died. If he has, then everything about how he has behaved toward everyone makes sense.
