Several storylines that will change the course of the show are anticipated for Emmerdale, but this week’s schedule will undergo a significant reorganization.
Even though Emmerdale recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with explosive plots, there will be more epic drama in the upcoming ITV episodes. Unfortunately, because of the start of the World Cup, soap opera fans will have to get used to a new schedule. Here is all the information you need to watch Emmerdale over the upcoming week.
When is Emmerdale on this week?
The World Cup began on November 20 and will continue in Qatar for the ensuing weeks until the championship game on December 8 (Thursday).
While the current state of football is exciting, Emmerdale fans may not find this to be such good news.
Due to ITV’s live streaming of the World Cup, the regular airing times of the drama must be adjusted to accommodate the games.
So, if you were excited to gather this evening [Monday, November 21] to learn the most recent news from the renowned village, you will be let down.
Emmerdale won’t air tonight, November 21, or on Friday, November 25, due to the World Cup broadcast.
Instead, the USA vs. Wales game will be broadcast on ITV.
Instead, to make up for the other two days, fans will be treated to hour-long episodes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the regularly scheduled time of 7.30 p.m.
If you do happen to miss these longer midweek episodes, however, there is no need for concern.
The network has confirmed that all three of this week’s episodes of Emmerdale have already been removed from ITVX, its streaming service.
This was confirmed by Emmerdale’s official Twitter account, which added that all of this week’s Coronation Street episodes would also be available there along with a release date schedule.
The message reads: “Please be aware that our schedules will differ slightly while the World Cup is on.
“The week’s events are listed below!
“Every Monday morning, the entire season is available as a box set for binge-watching. But keep in mind, no spoilers “.
This schedule is anticipated to remain in place for the upcoming weeks.
If so, every Monday morning, the entire season’s three-hour episodes will be released for fans to binge-watch.
Until the final match is broadcast on December 8, this will continue to be the situation on ITV.
Once the World Cup is over, Emmerdale should resume its regular timeslots.
Chloe (played by Jessie Elland) will accuse Priya (Fiona Wade) of having an affair with Al (Michael Wildman), who passed away earlier this month, in the upcoming episode on November 22.
Cain (Jeff Hordley), meanwhile, will become enraged upon discovering his sister Chas (Lucy Pargeter) waiting for him in the prisoners’ waiting area.
