What’s on the BBC on Thursday?
BBC One has actually cancelled all scheduled programming as the Queen’s family travelled to Balmoral in Scotland to be with her.
The broadcast was first interrupted during Bargain Hunt at lunchtime, as a BBC newsreader said: “We have had news from Buckingham Palace that the Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral.

However, the BBC has continued with their rolling news coverage as the story continues to develop.
The One Show was cancelled at 7pm after the news of the Queen’s death broke.

ITV changed The Chase from its regular time slot of 5pm to make room for the coverage.
It’s anticipated that the ITV News special would run until at least 7.30 p.m.
The weekly evening news slot will be replaced with this unique broadcast that will only feature Balmoral.
Emmerdale was scheduled to premiere at 7.30 p.m. but was postponed.
All three episodes are set to be dropped tonight at 8.30 p.m. and Police, Camera, Murder at 9 p.m.
