Fans of THE MASKED DANCER were intrigued to discover which stars were hiding behind the mask, with many speculating that an EastEnders cast member was wearing the Pearly King costume.
On Saturday night, a new edition of The Masked Dancer aired. Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, and Peter Crouch judged the contestants’ dancing routines. Aware watchers were certain they had identified the dancer as EastEnders bad boy Danny Dyer as the Pearly King took the stage and put on an outstanding performance.
Using their Twitter accounts, @bcfc7358 posted the following: “Eastenders cast member, according to Pearly King #MaskedDancerUK. Jake Wood, perhaps? Darren Dyer”

Judge Oti Mabuse shared the same impression as the viewers watching at home, proving that they weren’t the only ones noticing the arrogant attitude.
She fessed up: “I can see from the set that there are a lot of “DDs” and that this is a common phrase.
I reasoned that Danny Dyer from EastEnders might be involved.
But Jonathan Ross stepped in and said: “You’re heading in the wrong direction, and I don’t believe it’s Danny Dyer.
The crowd will unanimously agree with me when I say, “The other DD, who it is, is David Dickinson obviously!”
