In tonight’s episode of EastEnders, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was detained for murder while the family was eating dinner (7th November).
Suki assaulted Ranveer Gulati (Anil Goutam) earlier this year when he attempted to sexually assault her. Ravi, Ranveer’s “son,” persuaded her to leave the scene because she thought she had killed him (Aaron Thiara). The older man threatened Ravi, who then killed him out of fear after realizing Ranveer was still alive.
Later it was discovered that Nina Gupta (Hersha Verity), Ranveer’s wife and Ravi’s secret lover, had conspired to access Ranveer’s funds.
However, Ravi was sidetracked from their plan when Suki and their kids learned that Ravi was actually their son from Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhury), Ravi’s real father. Suki was shocked and hurt that Nish had kept the truth from her, even though their relationship began before they met.
After several weeks of separation, Suki’s son Kheerat (Jaz Deol) contacted her in the aftermath. The two tried to process the information about Ravi, and Kheerat acknowledged that he needed Suki in his life despite her role in what happened to his late brother Jags.
The police then came to see Nina at the surgery right after she had a passionate encounter with Ravi, just after Nina had pushed Ravi into undermining Suki in his statement.
They were together the night of the murder, according to Nina, who claimed that she and Ravi were in a relationship. Then Nina made a deliberate inference that Suki was at fault.
Suki made the decision to support Nish and choose to forgive him, inviting Ravi and his son Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) to a meal as a family. The police, however, intervened just as the clan was coming together to consider the future.
Everyone was shocked when Suki was taken into custody for Ranveer’s murder. Will Ravi reveal his true role in what happened, or will she be sent to prison?
