Following the news of the Queen’s passing on Thursday and Friday, BBC One’s soap did not air. On Monday, however, it featured a special scene commemorating the momentous historical event that compared it to Britain “losing its nan.”
This week, episodes will be broadcast on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer at 7.30 p.m. each night.
Naturally, the soap won’t air on Monday, the funeral day, but it will resume its regular schedule on Tuesday, September 20.
Soap fans will need to keep a close eye out for announcements as ITV is currently releasing its schedules day by day with some very last-minute changes to program times.
The Corrie episode aired on Monday at 8 p.m. and is scheduled to air again on Wednesday.
The most recent information is that viewers will be able to watch the episode that was supposed to air on Monday on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Emmerdale’s airtime has recently been moved around quite a bit due to ITV’s fluctuating schedules.
Tuesday’s episode of the Dales-set soap will now air at 8.35 p.m. instead of the original 8.05 p.m.
Viewers can catch the episode that was originally scheduled to air on Monday at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday.
