For more than 20 years, Jeff Hordley has played Cain Dingle in Emmerdale, but how tall is the soap opera star?
On Emmerdale, Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) has recently struggled after saying his final goodbyes to his mother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), who passed away from cancer. There are still more shocking incidents to come after the 50th anniversary’s dramatic events; this time, they involve Cain’s sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter). Hordley has recently received a lot of screen time, so it makes sense that ITV viewers would want to learn everything there is to know about the actor who plays Cain.
Jeff Hordley, a star of Emmerdale, is how tall?
Actor Jeff Hordley of Emmerdale is just over 5ft 11in tall, according to Celeb Heights.
However, he rounded up his height in an interview from 2001, saying: “I’m 6ft tall, and normally I weigh 12 and a half stone.”
Four years later, at the age of 52, Hordley clarified that he was “nearly six feet” tall.
His on-screen partner Natalie J. Robb, who plays Moira Dingle, is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, so he is somewhat taller than her.
Hordley is wed to fellow Emmerdale actress and Rhona Goskirk in the drama Zoe Henry.
The married couple’s height disparity is significant because Henry is only about 5 feet 1 inch tall.
He is taller than David Metcalfe actor Matthew Wolfenden, who is 5 feet 8 inches, and roughly the same height as Paddy Kirk actor Dominic Brunt, who is also 5 feet 11 inches.
Marlon Dingle actor Mark Charnock, who is 6 feet 2 inches tall, is the tallest actor in the current Emmerdale cast.
After his mother passed away, Cain experienced emotional turmoil and is still coping with his loss.
But since the program is still celebrating its 50th anniversary, there will be plenty more drama to come.
It has been hinted that when Cain hears a message from his sister Chas that was intended for her, he will learn of her affair with his archenemy Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).
A preview for a future episode depicts the scene where their conflict finally comes to a head.
Cain threatens him in the barn after hearing Al’s message for his sister and bringing a gun with him.
“You’re not going to see her again,” he tells Al bluntly.
Al and Cain begin to argue after Cain is seen reaching for the gun once more.
Will the deaths of these important characters as a result of a gunshot put an end to their commotion?
Some life-altering events are about to occur, as has already been hinted at in the teaser.
There will be “a lot more drama,” the actress J Robb told RadioTimes.
Laura Shaw, the producer, added: “In October, there’s going to be a lot of heartache, and Cain and Al’s rivalry is going to really heat up.
“Although Al and Chas have become much closer, will their affair eventually come to light?
