Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) reacts cruelly to Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) news in Emmerdale following his recent trip to hospital.
Jacob ended up in the back of an ambulance a few weeks ago, after he was stabbed by the person who previously dealt Leyla drugs.
Leyla was close to relapsing when Jacob found out what was going on and decided to try and help his mum.
However, during an altercation with Callum, Jacob ended up getting stabbed and spent the entire night on the cold ground, bleeding out.
The time in hospital ultimately was enough for Jacob to realise he doesn’t want Leyla near him anymore, given that her actions were the result of him nearly losing his life.
In this new video, Leyla pops by and tells Jacob that she’s been offered a job in London, continuing her career but she’ll now be earning a lot more money.
Sadly, Jacob’s reaction isn’t what Leyla expected. He’s nasty and tells her that she’s never been there for him, so leaving the village wouldn’t really have that much of an impact.
Despite the fact Leyla is given the proposition, it’s actually Priya (Fiona Wade) who will end up taking the job, to coincide with Fiona’s exit from the show.
But, as that leaves Leyla in the village, what does the future hold for her now?
