David Metcalfe, an Emmerdale resident, may end up losing everything because he betrayed Victoria Sugden, his love.
After David Metcalfe (played by Matthew Wolfenden) betrayed Victoria Sugden last week, Emmerdale viewers were shocked (Isabel Hodgins) The shop owner’s situation will worsen in upcoming scenes when his love decides to leave him permanently. ITV viewers saw David receive a speeding ticket, but in an unexpected twist, he made Victoria responsible in order to avoid receiving the points. However, after explaining that it might result in a prison sentence, attorney Ethan (Emile John) ends up frightening David.
Victoria is indignant when David informs her about the speeding ticket that is issued in her name in scenes that will air the following week.
Victoria threatens to call the police if David doesn’t clean up his mess after she becomes irate.
David, however, believes he has said enough when he approaches the investigating police officer at the police station and makes his case.
When Victoria tells Ryan (James Moore), Bear (Joshua Richards), and Marlon (Mark Charnock) about David’s betrayal, they are all shocked. This occurs elsewhere in the Hide.
Victoria appears to be at her wits’ end when David later shows up to break the news to her.
The shop owner is devastated when he witnesses Victoria packing up her belongings and leaving the house, signaling the end of their relationship.
Victoria (Sugden favorite) soon offers Wendy (Susan Cookson) a key to Dale View as she struggles to believe that what she’s doing is the right thing.
Later, as David sets out to win Victoria back, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), much to David’s dismay, reveals that he is the new delivery driver.
Bear offers some sage advice when David begins to sob in front of him.
David suddenly has a lightbulb moment as Bear departs.
When Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) and Eric get to the store, they see that it is decorated for Christmas.
They worry that David is increasing his debt for the incorrect reasons.
Fans also hope Victoria leaves David after his betrayal after last week’s episodes.
Danni expressed their opinions on social media by writing, “Victoria, David is an absolute scum bag get rid, hope he loses everything.”
Bobby penned: “In order to repay Victoria for saving him from bankruptcy, David accuses her of breaking the law. Another failed relationship, that one.” (sic)
Shannon then continued: “Victoria, it’s time to fling David to the ground! That doesn’t sound like love, does it? You’ve helped him out of a terrible financial situation, and now he’s about to suspend your license in order to keep his. #Emmerdale.” (sic)
