Kyle Winchester’s dark secret is something that Emmerdale’s Moira Barton is well aware of, but will he reveal it to the police in upcoming scenes?
Jeff Hordley’s character Cain Dingle is still defending Kyle Winchester, his 10-year-old son, who shot Michael Wildman’s character Al Chapman (Emmerdale) after witnessing their altercation. Kyle Winchester is played by Huey Quinn. Kyle’s mother Amy Wyatt and Cain’s partner Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) both want to shield him (Natalie Ann Jamieson). In yet-to-air scenes, will they later regret letting him out of their sight?
According to ITV soap opera spoilers, Amy is worried about letting the boy out of her sight, so Moira and Amy discuss bringing Kyle and Isaac Dingle (Bobby Dunsmuir) to a Christmas choir event.
An anxious Moira and Amy arrive at the village hall, but Kyle and Isaac quickly get into the holiday spirit.
The women eventually lose sight of Kyle and hear him discussing Cain with PC Mike Swirling (Andy Moore).
Knowing that his father will spend the rest of his life in prison for a murder he committed, Kyle has been struggling with guilt.
Before the constable learns anything, Moira and Amy, horrified, pounce.
PC Swirling, however, is now wary of the couple and seems troubled by their actions.
After the Christmas celebration, Amy and Moira try to find out what Kyle told the officer, but they only manage to irritate him.
Have they completely shut Kyle down by asking him for information?
Later, Moira tries to reassure Amy by telling her that if she gives Kyle a fantastic Christmas, it will help everyone’s lives get back to normal.
However, as Amy struggles to remain composed in light of the circumstance, Moira also feels the pressure growing.
How much longer will Moira be able to withstand the strain before she breaks?
Will she ultimately report Kyle to the police in an effort to atone for her sins?
Producer of Emmerdale Jane Hudson recently discussed Cain’s future with Express.co.uk and other media outlets.
Poor Cain is still behind bars, she said. On Christmas Day, he will receive a visit from his brother Caleb, who is portrayed by Will Ash.
Jeff, who plays Cain, said: “At first, I’ll be honest, I wondered why they were bringing in a younger Dingle. Are they attempting to take my place?
“Because whenever they introduce a character who is similar to yours, you always become a little bit protective of your character.
The moment I realized it was Will, however, I said to myself, “This is the best thing that could have happened.
He stated in code: “There is a relationship between Cain and him. Despite his dislike, it is clear that he also finds something to relate to.”
Viewers will see a flashback episode depicting the first time Caleb and Cain met as young children before Caleb arrives in the village.
