Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle will make a life-changing decision after Al Chapman’s killer was finally revealed.
Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman’s) shooting last week during a confrontation with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) shocked Emmerdale village. Although Cain was detained, ITV viewers learned on Friday night that his son Kyle (Huey Quinn) had actually fired the shot. Cain will make a choice in upcoming episodes that will permanently alter the course of his family’s life.
Viewers will see the moment Kyle was accountable for Al’s death in flashback scenes scheduled to air on Monday night.
As they reveal the truth to a horrified Moira, Kyle and Cain will relive the agonizing moments (Natalie J Robb).
When Cain claims he will take all necessary precautions to protect Kyle, even if it means serving time in jail, Moira becomes upset and sobs.
Cain sees how his beloved is affected by his heartbreaking choice to put their marriage in jeopardy.
Moira, who is fighting back tears, concurs that the truth is worse than a lie and follows Cain’s plan.
The hardworking villager feels helpless as Moira struggles to maintain composure.
He is unsure if he can rely on his wife to keep this important secret a secret.
However, he needs to be concerned about more than just Moira because Kyle’s mother Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) will also find out the truth about what transpired.
Will Amy concur with Cain’s plan or will she insist that Kyle admit what he did?
Natalie, who plays Moira, said of the plot: “Moira is absolutely floored by Cain’s confession.
“I believe that she subconsciously sensed that something wasn’t quite right, but she was unaware that Kyle was a party to the shooting.”
“I think the audience will really empathize with Moira’s predicament,” she continued.
“She will do everything she can to keep her family together, Kyle may not be hers by blood but she sees him as her own.
“She has a lot of extremely difficult decisions to make.”
“This is a fascinating story to play as there are so many twists and turns that will cause a ripple effect to other characters in the village that are not yet aware of the true circumstances.
“Moira, as a mother and a wife, has such a turbulent time ahead which is great as an actress to get stuck into.”
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), the daughter of Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), executes her mother’s last wishes elsewhere in the community.
She tells the rest of the family that she has finally delivered Faith’s ashes to the factory where they will be turned into fireworks.
Will the entire family come together one last time to bid Faith farewell before Cain is put behind bars?
