Fans of Emmerdale think they know who bought Kyle and Isaac their Christmas presents, and it wasn’t their father Cain Dingle.
An ecstatic Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) and Isaac Dingle (Bobby Dunsmuir) opened two Christmas presents that had been sent by an unknown person during Friday night’s episode of Emmerdale. When Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) and his son visited Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), the bad boy misled them into thinking he had sent the gifts. Fans weren’t buying it, though, as the mechanic exhibited suspicion after learning about the Christmas presents.
“Hey, mate, how’s it going?” Cain asked Kyle as his son replied: “I love my car.”
“Right,” Cain replied looking confused.
Moira chipped in: “Hi, handsome, so we got a surprise delivery today, didn’t we?”
“Do you know anything about that?” she quizzed her husband.
Cain simply replied: “It depends on what it is.”
“I wanted to bring it in,” Kyle explained as his mum added: “I told you, you can play with it when we get home.”
The mechanic looked baffled as Moira probed: “Oh, so it wasn’t from you.”
As Kyle let slip what the gift was, Cain said: “It arrived then. I didn’t want to say until I was sure.”
“So you sent it?” Moira asked suspiciously as Cain hit back: “Of course.”
“I can’t believe you did that,” Moira beamed. “And I let him and Isaac open them, I hope you don’t mind. Isaac loved the garage by the way.”
“I knew he would,” Cain unconvincingly replied.
A letter from an unknown author was also given to Cain at the beginning of the episode.
But even before reading the letter, the Dingle favorite tore it up.
Many fans who took to social media to discuss the upcoming plot point think Caleb, not Cain, sent the mysterious gifts.
They also asserted that Caleb was the author of the letter addressed to the mechanic.
So the secret brother has sent those presents then, #emmerdale, Amie wrote.
If it wasn’t Cain #Emmerdale, I believe Caleb delivered the presents, Ryan Glendenning wrote.
“I bet Caleb was the one who the sent presents to Kyle and Moses,” Westie continued.
Theorizing that Cain was speaking to his long-lost brother Caleb on the phone while in jail, Donna wrote on Twitter, “Cain was talking to his long-lost brother Caleb. #Emmerdale.”
“Cain on the phone to Caleb… #Emmerdale,” Shaky wrote.
