Since Kim Tate hired the businesswoman to be her deputy, Emmerdale resident Gabby Thomas has been making every effort to win her over.
Rosie Bentham’s portrayal of Gabby Thomas in Emmerdale has had a difficult period recently. In addition to making a terrible error with The Hyde brochures, she was also turned down when she attempted to kiss newcomer Nicky (Lewis Cope). The mother has made a point of impressing Kim Tate (Claire King) with Home Farm and her businesses, but could this be her ploy to seize control of Kim’s life entirely?
Recently, when Gabby published a photo of Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) on the cover to advertise The Hyde, she unintentionally made a grave mistake.
When Kim quickly pointed out that a picture of a man who had been murdered by Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) wasn’t good for business, Kim was left incensed.
However, after making a persuasive pitch to Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler), councilman Colin, and visitors from nearby schools, Gabby was quick to turn things around.
The actress who plays Gabby opened up in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk about her upcoming plot.
She continued by teasing that she eventually wants to succeed Kim at Home Farm.
She’s a mum first and foremost, but she’s trying to get closer to Kim, so when Kim offers her this job, “Rosie started.
“And then there’s this Dawn thing and all this competition to be the most successful.
“Gabby has always been fixated on being driven, successful, and wealthy for herself.”
“And then a man enters, and everything is set aside, “The soap opera star went on. “This promotion is mine.
“Gabby’s first job is to pitch some stuff to many school governors and teach them whatever at The Hyde about a new thing that’s coming in. I’m really excited about that.
“And it kind of goes one way and then it kind of goes another way, but in the end, Kim’s impressed, and she gets the job, and the first person she goes to, to celebrate is Nicky.
I believe Gabby is merely overjoyed and believes her life is headed in the right direction.
She desires success, the Gabby Thomas actress acknowledged. She also desires living like a 21-year-old.
The nanny can help because “her best friend passed away, she didn’t plan on having this child, and she isn’t thinking about giving this child top priority.”
The actress continued by talking about Jamie Tate’s (Alexander Lincoln) comeback and acknowledged that it would “rock the boat at Home Farm” if he returned.
She explained that if Gabby’s ex did return, it would also call into question her plans to acquire Home Farm.
She remarked, “I think it would be very chaotic with Kim as well.
“I don’t know whose hands Home Farm will be in after that, but it would undoubtedly rock the boat at Home Farm as well.
However, Gabby is hoping that it is hers; however, we shall see.
Could Gabby be courting Kim’s support in order to turn on her and seize Home Farm?
The successful businesswoman could then fall in love with everything and everyone.
