When Kerry Wyatt of Emmerdale’s Al Chapman was killed, her world was already turned upside down. For the grieving resident, things might ultimately get worse.
The death of Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter’s) lover Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) last week brought her world to a grinding halt. The bartender thinks her brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who pleaded guilty and was jailed, committed the crime. On Monday’s episode of Emmerdale, Huey Quinn’s character Cain Winchester’s son Kyle was exposed as the true offender.
Only Cain, Kyle, Moira (Natalie J. Robb), and Amy Wyatt currently know the truth (Natalie Ann Jamieson).
Moira is relieved when Amy chooses to stay in the village even though Cain had advised her to flee with Kyle.
The two made the decision to keep the entire incident a secret, but the truth will eventually come to light.
At the episode’s conclusion, Moira and Kerry collaborated and came up with a strategy.
Amy retorted, “Why because Cain can’t get out,” Moira pleaded, “You can’t run away, Amy.”
“No, Moira insisted, “because Kyle needs stability. I’m not saying this to save Cain’s neck; I’m saying this for Kyle.
“You are aware that I adore this boy and that he depends on both of us.
“Kyle can be comforted and given a normal life. We can help him get through this. Simply keep working together.”
Added Amy “The truth can be concealed. Keep it hidden, and we’ll make sure that nothing of this ever leaks.”
Fans, however, appear to believe that Moira might end up framing Kerry Wyatt, Al’s fiancée (Laura Norton).
Even though Kerry is Amy’s mother, the two would do anything to keep Kyle out of jail.
Cain is currently serving a sentence for a crime he did not commit, so Moira also wants to free him.
On social media, Jamal made the following prediction: “I have a feeling that Kerry will accept the blame when she learns what has been going on, with the affair between Al & Chas, and Kyle shooting Al.”
Wonder if Moira and Amy will frame Kerry for Al’s murder, especially if the affair turns out to be about a woman scorned and all that #emmerdale, said Jenny.
Kerry names-drops a friend who works on a cruise ship, but you’ve never seen or heard of him before, Lee said when discussing Kerry’s potential departure from the soap opera. That will be useful when she leaves soon. (sic)
“Called me old fashioned but wouldn’t forensic’s not pick up on a 10-year-old kid’s prints being on the gun #emmerdale,” Mick said. (sic)
“I hope Cain somehow escapes and Kyle doesn’t get found out,” Dan tweeted about Emmerdale.
Kyle will be injured by Monday because this never gets out, a user named @Sarah B D1 commented.
Another viewer appeared to believe that Kyle would eventually confess.
In another scene of the episode, Naomi (Karene Peter) struggled to accept the possibility that she might go to prison after learning that Nate had cheated on her.
