Jamie Tate could soon make a comeback to Emmerdale, and could he be looking to exact revenge on his mother, Kim Tate?
Jamie Tate, portrayed by Alexander Lincoln, faked his own death in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, where he was last seen. Many residents of the village, including his mother Kim Tate (Claire King) and his son’s mother Gabby Thomas, would prefer not to see him return (Rosie Bentham). The Gabby actress did, however, recently address the subject of the villain’s potential return.
Exclusively speaking to Express.co.uk and other media, Rosie stated: “Jamie’s return would cause mayhem.
“Many issues from his time here remain unresolved, and Gabby would continue to experience a lot of pain.
“He was tricking her into believing they were getting married.
“It would undoubtedly upset things at Home Farm and cause a lot of chaos for her [Kim] as well.
Executive producer of the soap opera Jane Hudson also hinted at a significant character’s return this season.
I’m currently working on summer storylines because I like to have a little bit of a spectacular, she said.
“If I say that, then I need to think of something right away.”
Jane laughed when she was asked if any of the cast would be returning.
She continued by making a hint that she is anticipating the soap opera star’s confirmation of their arrival.
With many speculating that he is collaborating with newcomer Nicky, fans are also convinced that Jamie could be returning to the ITV soap (Lewis Cope).
Emmerdale Nick is working for Jamie, I’m convinced, Georgia D theorized.
What Elizabeth Edwards foresaw: “#emmerdale I believe that Jamie Tate’s new nanny Nicky is actually Jean Tate, Zoe Tate’s daughter, who looks a lot like Matty Barton. We just need to wait and see.” (sic)
“Who is Nicky working for? Nobody? Joe? Jamie? Is he the secret lovechild of Chris Tate?” Jamie quizzed.
While Ryan Glendenning wrote: “Cain and Moira will be changed forever by this.
Emmerdale: “I don’t see a way out of this. Additionally, Nicky makes me uneasy because I believe he knows Jamie Tate. Also, Caleb might not be Cain’s brother but Chloe’s father. I have so many inquiries right now. (sic)
Since newcomer Nicky moved to the Dales, his motives have drawn a lot of suspicion from the community, with many saying he “seems too good to be true.”
Nicky is a wonderful character. Lewis said of his new character, “I’m just having fun with him. He’s very relatable and likeable.
The soap star continued when asked if Nicky had a troubled past: “Right now he’s a lovely person, and there’s nothing to say [otherwise]… he kind of fits the bill.
We’ll have to wait and see, but he almost seems too good to be true.
