Chas Dingle from Emmerdale has been having an affair with Al Chapman for months now while married to Paddy Kirk. Though, in upcoming scenes, could the dishonest businessman be eliminated in a cruel twist of retribution?
On the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Chas Dingle (played by Lucy Pargeter) has been attempting to conceal her adultery from her faithful husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt). But her son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is aware of her relationship with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman). Could he kill Al to put an end to their romance once and for all?
Aaron prepares to leave permanently and bid his loved ones farewell in scenes that have yet to air.
His half-sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele), who tragically passed away during the soap opera’s storm week, has been mourned by the character.
Chas confronts Aaron about his impending departure from the Yorkshire Dales while feeling extremely emotional.
But he abruptly ends any potential future he and his mother might have.
Lucy, a Chas actor, made a suggestion that a vengeful Aaron might kill off Al to exact his retribution.
“Paddy is Aaron’s dad, not his real dad, but he has played that role ever since he came into the show,” she said in an interview with Express.co.uk.
We’ll watch to see if he can keep his mouth shut and, if he can’t or can, decide what he really wants to do about seeing his mum’s moral compass go slightly awry with his love for Paddy.
She acknowledged that despite the fact that Paddy is such a beloved character and has served as Aaron’s father figure, Emmerdale viewers are really “not liking” Al and Chas together.
“You have the supporters, but Chas definitely has the detractors for what she is doing to Paddy and the motivations behind what she is doing with Al,” the actress said.
“However, she claimed at the outset that there were no affections, and in my opinion, she is going to the gym and is pressed for time, but she has just enough for Al to give her some space from everything else going on in her life.
“However, as time passed, more affection and emotion surfaced.
We were never going to win people over with Paddy involved, and I detest what she is doing to him.
Paddy is still unaware of Chas’ covert relationship with Al, but according to Emmerdale rumors, her brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) soon finds out.
In upcoming scenes, Cain is startled to see a string of messages from an unknown number revealing an affair when he hears Chas’ burner phone vibrating.
Al answers the phone believing Chas is calling, and Cain has no idea who is on the other end.
As Cain recognizes Al’s voice on the other end of the line, his expression darkens.
The village hard man uses the phone to set a trap for his arch-enemy out of rage.
Later, Al finds a steely-eyed Cain where he thought he would find Chas: in a barn.
Is it Aaron who uses the shotgun that Cain is carrying on Al?
