As they jointly raise baby Esther, Noah Dingle and Amelia Spencer, a young couple from Emmerdale, are more devoted than ever. But could Samson Dingle end up destroying everything?
Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell), the new mother in Emmerdale, has been struggling lately, especially after Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) declared he didn’t want anything to do with their daughter Esther. But Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), who quickly stepped up to the plate and has since only supported Amelia and Esther, didn’t wait long to do so.
He even recently opened a bank account for Esther to use when she is older with money he had recently inherited.
However, it appears that Samson has changed his mind in later scenes after learning about the sizeable sum of money.
Samson entered the cafe in a recent episode as Noah, Amelia, and Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) were toasting Dan’s good fortune.
Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) didn’t take long to reveal what they were toasting, though.
As Samson approached the cafe counter, he pointed out: “They seem cheerful?”
“Because they’ve got something to celebrate, haven’t they?” Brenda replied:
“You’ve probably been out of the loop.
“Noah has been given a trust fund and he’s going to put it all into an account for Esther.”
Is it very valuable? Brenda revealed as Samson continued his questions, “It’s not to be sniffed at apparently.”
According to ITV’s official spoilers, Noah appears to sabotage the romance between Noah and Amelia.
When Noah shows up at the cafe carrying Valentine’s gifts, he becomes concerned because Samson seems to be spending more time with Amelia.
Before Samson departs, the boys have an awkward conversation.
Noah isn’t convinced that this is a good move, despite Amelia’s assurance that it is, and his doubts about Samson grow.
Samson seems to be courting Amelia in an effort to gain access to Esther’s funds.
If he is successful, Amelia might be foolish enough to fall for his lies, ruining her relationship with Noah.
Social media has also been used by fans to express their own opinions about the plot.
According to user @macnamara60, many believe Samson will attempt to obtain Esther’s money. She wrote: “Samson’s about to do something monumentally sleazy, I fear.”
@unsworth1live added: “Samson eyeing up Esther’s upcoming trust fund?” as Kathleen uttered: “Samson…horror #emmerdale.”
It feels like Noah is completely taking over, so Nat retorted, “Is he trying to get at Noah?” (sic)
SJ Sampson added another theory, “No, he has just learned about the money and will offer to sell him the baby.
