Viewers of Emmerdale think Belle Dingle is about to stir up trouble in the Dales and put an end to Chas Dingle’s fabrications once and for all.
Fans of Emmerdale witnessed the brutal murder of Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) by his secret lover’s brother Cain Dingle last week (Jeff Hordley). After lying for months, Cain discovered their relationship and reacted violently. Even though only a few people are aware of the cheating, viewers are under the impression that the affair is about to be fully revealed.
Last week, after Cain confronted Al about his relationship with his sister Chas, their long-running conflict reached a boiling point when Cain shot Al in the barn (Lucy Pargeter).
Al and Chas have been seeing each other secretly for months despite Chas’ marriage to Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Al’s recent engagement to Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton).
They were once caught in the act by Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) at a hotel, but they were able to hide it.
Chas continued seeing Al in secret even after telling Belle and her son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) that the relationship was over.
But it wasn’t until Cain exposed their adultery that things came to a fatal end, leading to his arrest for the crime.
The only person who is aware of the affair in the Dales is Belle because Aaron is disgusted with his mother for betraying Paddy and leaving the village while Cain is imprisoned.
Viewers are persuaded by the scenes that were shown this week that the young Dingle is about to out Chas and put all the lies to rest once and for all.
When Chas informed the bar that Al had passed away on Tuesday’s episode, Belle gave the woman a look that suggested she was aware the relationship had persisted.
She pulled a face at Chas, implying that she knew something, and then she said something about Al to see how she would react.
Twitter users quickly predicted that Belle would soon reveal Al and Chas’ affair, which had caused the confrontation with her brother Cain.
Warenext exclaimed, “Come on, Belle! Your opportunity to shout it out loud!! It’s time to reveal Chas and protect Paddy!
“Oh hello-Is Belle finally about to do the country a favor and expose Chas?” asked Matt528chap.
“Down to Belle now to tell the truth about Chas and Al, poor Paddy,” wrote BernieTucker66.
“Well done Belle making Chas Squirm,” RyanGSoapKing11 tweeted.
Lilyyflo12 said, “Belle needs to let everyone know, especially Paddy, what she knows.”
BovaryCee remarked: “The expression on Belle’s face as she turns to look at Chas. She rejects Chas’s pitiful expression. #Emmerdale.”
Even though Cain is the one who is imprisoned, many people do not believe he was the one who shot Al.
Monday’s episode from last week ended on a cliffhanger when a single gunshot was fired during a struggle for the gun in the barn.
When Kerry entered the room and discovered a lifeless Al next to her dead fiance, Cain was immediately held responsible.
Viewers have speculated that Chas’ son Aaron, who threatened Al when he learned of their affair, may actually be the real murderer.
Aaron gave Al a punch to the face and threatened to kill and bury him if he saw his mother.
Could it be that his blunt words weren’t just empty threats?
