Following Fiona Wade’s decision to leave the ITV soap, Priya Sharma from Emmerdale is planning to leave the community.
After eleven years portraying Priya Sharma in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Fiona Wade is reportedly leaving the show. Following the passing of three adored show characters, including Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton), and Liv Flaherty, the news comes as a shock (Isobel Steele).
The devastating storm stunt from last week was largely the result of Priya’s role as the village wedding planner.
The wedding of Kim Tate and Will Taylor (Claire King and Dean Andrews) was the focal point of the 50th anniversary week.
The village will miss Priya dearly because she planned the big day.
Fiona joined the soap opera as Priya in 2011, but according to The Sun, she will no longer be playing the character.
Emmerdale has been contacted by thesuns.info for comment.
Over the years, Priya has been at the center of a number of intense storylines.
Numerous times, the characters’ struggle with an eating disorder has been brought up.
Her work at Take A Vow has allowed her to plan some of the most exciting events from Emmerdale.
Priya has struggled with confidence issues in recent scenes as a result of the scars from the maze fire.
She struggled to open up to her family and friends, so the plot had her keeping her body image problems to herself.
In the course of her recovery, she did, however, develop a warm friendship with Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock).
She made a promise to him that if he made it down the aisle on his wedding day, her scars would be on display.
The two maintained their commitment to one another in heartwarming scenes.
The effects of the storm are still being felt in other areas of the village this week as the locals attempt to move on.
Whatever it takes, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is determined to keep her affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) a secret.
She emotionally blackmails her son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) into giving in and leaving the village rather than being honest with him.
Samson Dingle (Sam Hill), who has been missing since the summer, is becoming more of a concern.
Fans of Emmerdale will be aware that the child, who was caught in the storm, is now buried in the forest.
Will he be discovered in time, or will he end up being the weather event’s third fatality?
