Dawn Taylor from Emmerdale thought getting a nanny would only be good for her family, but it seems she was mistaken.
On Emmerdale, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and her partner Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) recently hired Nicky as a nanny to look after their kids Clemmie Reid (Mabel Addison) and Lucas Taylor (Dexter Ansell). Despite Nicky’s excellent performance, ITV soap opera spoilers suggest Dawn will reconsider hiring him in upcoming scenes.
Dawn was uneasy about having someone else watch their kids, despite Billy’s assurances that they would get childcare.
But a few weeks ago, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) discovered a male nanny who she believed would be the ideal match for Dawn and Billy.
Nicky was introduced to Dawn’s kids, and he instantly connected with them. Dawn liked Nicky.
Nicky has been getting to know Lucas and Clemmie over the past few weeks, while Gabby has been swooning over him.
However, when Kim Tate (Claire King) warns Gabby to stay away from Nicky, Gabby is likely to be unimpressed.
In another scene, Billy and Dawn are grinning and happy that Nicky is integrating well with the kids.
The situation quickly changes when Dawn realizes she has been at work the entire time Nicky has been having fun with Clemmie and Lucas.
Dawn is power-dressed and prepared for a crucial meeting at Home Farm, but she soon feels guilty for skipping Clemmie’s swimming lesson.
Then, as revealed by spoilers, Dawn makes a drastic choice regarding her childcare situation.
Will she immediately fire Nicky if the guilt becomes too much for her?
Could she tell Billy that if she quits her job to care for the kids, he will be the only one in their relationship making money?
When Dawn informs Kim of her choice, they begin to argue, and the tension quickly rises.
Is there anything Kim can do to help change Dawn’s mind?
Nicky actor newcomer Lewis recently admitted everything about his character seems “too good to be true”.
The actor told thesuns.info: “Nicky’s a great character. He’s very relatable, likeable, and I’m just having fun with him.”
When asked if Nicky has a dark past, he continued: “At the moment he’s a lovely person, and there’s nothing to say [otherwise]… he kind of fits the bill.
We’ll have to wait and see, but he almost seems too good to be true.
