In yet-to-air scenes on the village soap, Bob Hope of Emmerdale will be left worried about his daughter Cathy Hope as she has a breakdown on stage.
In upcoming scenes, Gabrielle Dowling’s character Cathy Hope from Emmerdale and Amelia Flanagan’s character April Windsor are encouraged to try out for the town choir by reverend Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin). However, ITV soap opera spoilers have revealed that when Cathy enters the stage, the audition goes horribly wrong.
Charles tries to enlist choir members and entice some of Emmerdale’s younger generation in upcoming scenes, but he doesn’t have much success.
Later, his son Ethan Anderson (Emile John) advises that Charles modernize the choir by substituting Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You for antiquated Christmas classics.
In the neighborhood cafe, he runs into Cathy and April, but the mood is tense due to issues with a boy.
The competitive teenagers get ready to compete for a spot, though, when Charles invites them to try out for the choir.
The girls’ rivalry for the chorus auditions is still palpable the next day.
Ethan performs All I Want For Christmas Is You at the audition, demonstrating to Cathy and April how it’s done.
However, Cathy panics and is unable to follow him because of how good his singing is.
When Cathy had a breakdown in front of everyone on stage, April shows concern.
Her father Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw), who is unsure of what is happening, is concerned for his daughter.
When they arrive home, will he be able to soothe her and help her feel better about the situation?
Will Charles allow Cathy another chance to audition, or has she already lost her chance to join the choir?
After a challenging audition, April decides the next day that it is time to reconcile with Cathy.
Will the females be able to put their boy problems behind them and reconcile?
April told Cathy about her feelings for Arthur over the past month (Alfie Clarke).
Cathy assured April that she would speak on her behalf if she was too afraid to approach Arthur.
She broke down in tears when Arthur turned her down, though.
Was Cathy responsible for the heartache since she had previously abused April?
April might find a new love interest if she is able to join the chorus.
If Cathy does happen to be interested in someone, it might be wise to avoid letting her get involved.
