As Bob Hope and Bernice Blackstock rally locals to assist in cleaning up after the storm, viewers of Emmerdale can expect to see conflict brewing between the two.
ITV viewers have watched as a disastrous storm tore through Emmerdale over the last few episodes. Bernice Blackstock has organized a clean-up of the debris that has been left behind after the village was left in a state of chaos (Samantha Giles). Although it appears that she and Bob (Tony Audenshaw) are about to clash in scenes that will air the following week.
Emmerdale executives provided viewers with a number of massive storylines, including affairs, pregnancies, confessions, and a catastrophic storm, to celebrate the ITV soap’s 50th anniversary.
Fans have seen the weather get progressively worse over the past week, putting many residents’ lives in danger.
The storm has claimed the lives of numerous characters as they have struggled to avoid flying objects, falling trees, and even a stampede of cows.
It’s time for a major operation to attempt to clean up the mess that has been left behind as things have begun to calm down.
Fans will see Bernice organize a group of people to perform a significant village clean-up in scenes scheduled to air next week.
After deciding to put herself forward as team leader, things quickly go south because deputy Bob doesn’t like her management style.
Bob quickly starts to feel mistreated and his resentment for the group leader starts to fester.
As Bernice becomes more demanding with her directives and delegations, tensions between the two may be about to boil over.
According to a theory put forth by Express.co.uk, Bob decides to take matters into his own hands and disregards Bernice’s directives regarding what to prioritize first.
Indignant that he disregarded her instructions, Bernice makes a scene in front of the tidy-up team and declares that he should return home and stop contributing.
Although the locals might not take kindly to her stern words because they believe she has gone on a slight power trip,
Could Bob and Bernice’s relationship become even more strained if the Emmerdale tidy team decides to turn against the bartender and make Bob the hero of the massive clean-up?
So far, it has been confirmed that Harriett Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton), who was looking for pregnant teen Amelia Spencer, was the soap’s first victim (Daisy Campbell).
The fatality occurred after a terrifying turn in a rescue effort for Amelia, who had gone into labor alone.
Harriett set out on her quad bike to help in the search for the teen, whose phone had died before she could tell people where she was.
However, as the storm grew worse, she was blown over in the woods and trapped when her bike fell on top of her.
Kim Tate (Claire King), who was riding a horse and looking for Amelia, soon came across Harriett and had to make a choice.
Kim put their differences aside and assisted in freeing Harriet despite meddling in her relationship with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).
Sadly, the catastrophe was not yet over because a lightning strike caused the bike to explode, rendering them both unconscious.
Kim tried to check on Harriet when she came to after losing consciousness, but she was unable to find a pulse.
While continuing to look for Amelia, Kim went back to the house to break the tragic news that Harriet had passed away. Dan, Harriet’s partner (Liam Fox), had discovered her body.
Katherine said, when asked about leaving Radio Times, “I got very emotional reading it. On the actual day, I was covered in blood and my hair was covered in various pieces of wood. Sand and other debris were literally being blown into your eyes by these large industrial wind turbines.
I was able to get through the day without crying because, when it came down to it, it wasn’t as emotional due to the technical nature of what you have to do.
