As Sandra Flaherty’s cruel scheme continues, Liv and Vinny Dingle, a couple from Emmerdale, grow more distant from one another tonight (September 26).
As part of a larger scheme to steal Liv’s savings, Sandra is currently trying to ruin the young couple’s marriage without the young couple’s knowledge.
Liv has recently been traveling the world with her mother, who made sure Vinny wasn’t joining them.
Vinny has had a hard time being without Liv, especially since he hasn’t been able to get in touch with her because her phone broke while she was away.
In the episode airing on Monday, Vinny is caught off guard when a “For Sale” sign is placed outside Mill Cottage.
Liv appears to have planned the potential sale, but she hasn’t discussed it with Vinny.
Soon after, Liv and Sandra take a taxi back to their hotel, both of them happy from their vacation.
Vinny expresses his displeasure over Liv making such a significant decision without him, which deflates the mood.
As arguments start, Sandra is happy that her scheme to stoke friction between Liv and Vinny is succeeding.
Isobel Steele, who portrays Liv, recently discussed her character’s potential departure from the village with Digital Spy and other media outlets.
She uttered: “Liv, I believe, would realize there is actually no reason to leave the village at all if she took a seat and gave it some serious thought.
“Liv is very content there; she is married, has a large network of relatives who are close by and care about her, and it is a very community-based place. Liv has only wanted that for years, so she has no reason to want to leave.
“However, it’s very skillfully written, and you can see how Sandra has used it to her advantage to make Liv feel trapped in her relationship and like no one is looking out for her.
“Sandra gives Liv the impression that she is the only person who truly understands her and is on her side as a result of their shared past.
“The other characters, who are asking you why you want to leave, find it frustrating. I don’t understand it! But she’s been caught off guard by it and doesn’t even know it.”
