Since moving into the village, Caleb Milligan of Emmerdale has kept his cards close to his chest. However, in yet-to-air scenes, he might reveal more about his private life.
Since his Emmerdale debut in December, Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) has not been connected to a romantic partner. However, upcoming scenes in the ITV soap opera have hinted at a potential relationship between him and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).
Leyla continues to be terrified of dangerous drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley) this week, so Caleb gives her some advice.
By filming the drug dealer giving illegal substances to customers, Leyla attempted to expose him.
She had intended to give the police the footage, but since it was inconclusive, nothing further was done.
In response, Callum threatened Leyla and her family, threatening her son Jacob Gallagher in particular (Joe-Warren Plant).
Leyla’s friend Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), in response to the threats, came up with a scheme to catch the criminal.
It went horribly wrong when he realized what she was doing and hit her in the head with a brick, knocking her out cold.
At the conclusion of Monday’s episode, Suzy was discovered dead in the shadows.
Leyla is disgusted to learn later in the week that Callum escapes punishment yet again because his mother has given him a fictitious alibi for the time of Suzy’s vicious attack.
Fortunately, Suzy awakens, but she worries that Callum will return and kill her.
Leyla begins receiving ominous text messages from Callum and worries Suzy might be correct.
Caleb approaches Leyla as she sobs in the village cemetery and asks if she needs any help.
Leyla receives some advice from Caleb, who also exhorts her to play the drug dealer fair.
Could Caleb and Leyla have a spark that they want to explore further?
Both of them are single, and Caleb might be the sassy, self-assured individual who can bring out the best in Leyla.
The actress who portrays Leyla, Roxy, said of their first encounter: “He shares some words of Caleb wisdom with her.”
She claimed that Leyla makes an impulsive choice as a result of their conversation.
Roxy responded when asked if romance between Leyla and Caleb was possible: “I believe that Leyla and any potential suitor have a spark! I’m going to answer yes.”
