EXCLUSIVE Here’s what Mimi Slinger has been up to since leaving the soap earlier this year after Meena Jutla brutally killed off her character Leanna Cavanagh.
Mimi Slinger, a former Emmerdale actress, is best known for playing Leanna Cavanagh on the ITV soap opera.
But after deciding to leave the show, she was brutally murdered earlier this year by the evil serial killer Meena Jutla.
Leanna was caught up in a bloody altercation on the humpbacked bridge during her farewell.
The 19-year-old actress has since acknowledged that she was “shocked” to read the script for her final scenes.
Around the time of her departure from the soap, Mimi stated in an interview: “I had made the decision to leave the Dales and I was so excited to learn how the producers were going to engineer my departure.
I was overjoyed to have the chance to prove my acting chops and be challenged.
She initially joined the Emmerdale cast in March 2018, but since then, she’s revealed that she also works as a model and a musician.
She joined prestigious modeling agency Storm Management in 2021.
“Fingers crossed for anything in the pipeline,” she continued. I want to continue acting because I adore it so much and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Things do appear to be improving for the beauty, though, as the Daily Star recently had an exclusive interview with her Strictly Come Dancing partner HRVY.
HRVY discussed his relationship with the bombshell and her activities since leaving the soap opera during a Facebook Live chat.
She is teaching me some acting techniques, but she is still performing, according to HRVY.
She has been filming a ton of self-tapes for Netflix and Amazon, as well as attending a ton of auditions and doing her modeling.
Added him: “Although they are a good stepping stone for people, soap operas are not my thing. I would love to act, but I wouldn’t do them.
“Although it’s great, I personally prefer Netflix and Amazon Prime. I, not Corrie, can see my name written in the stars there.”
With them as a couple, singer HRVY, 23, who placed second in the 2020 BBC dancing show competition, has high expectations.
HRVY stated “She was standing in front of me when I first saw her at the NTAs a year ago, and I remember thinking, “Wow, she’s fit and she looks lovely.”
