Viewers of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale are convinced that Chas Dingle was wounded during the gunfight between Cain Dingle and Al Chapman.
In a contentious episode of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Michael Wildman’s Al Chapman and Jeff Hordley’s Cain Dingle squared off. Before a vicious fight between the two broke out and they were left reaching for the weapon, Cain pointed a gun in Al’s face. Fans believe Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, who is Al’s lover and Cain’s sister, was the character who was shot in the episode that literally ended with a bang.
Emmerdale tough guy During the dramatic episode of the ITV soap opera that aired on Monday, Cain saluted his foe Al with a shotgun.
When Cain learned that his sister was having an affair with Al, he became furious and conned the businessman into meeting him in a far-off barn.
Before the two men began rolling up their sleeves and getting ready for battle, Al made an effort to hide his fear of the game Cain was holding.
Al remarked, “We both know who you are doing this for and it isn’t Chas,” as they began to circle one another.
This is about you destroying something that is not yours to destroy, Cain retorted.
Al remarked, “No, no, this is about someone showing up and finally putting you out of your misery.
The two then got into a physical altercation, with Cain punching his foe first.
Al persisted in resisting Cain, who eventually succeeded in kicking him to the ground.
Before they got into another fight, Al said to Cain, “That’s the difference between you and me, I’ve never really needed anyone until Chas.”
The gripping episode came to a close with the sound of a gunshot being fired behind closed doors while the shooter’s identity was kept secret.
Which of the characters will survive the fierce battle?
Fans of Emmerdale flooded Twitter with their theories, with many speculating that Chas was the victim of the shooting because she walked in on the two engaged in a fight.
