The beloved Emmerdale couple will soon be torn apart after Chas Dingle’s affair with Al Chapman is finally revealed.
Since she began having an affair with Al Chapman, bartender Chas (played by Lucy Pargeter) has been the subject of anticipation from Emmerdale viewers in recent months (Michael Wildman). But to make matters even more difficult, Chas was devastated when Al was shot and killed. Although Chas thinks her brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) killed her lover, Kyle Winchester was actually responsible (Huey Quinn).
Since Al’s passing, Chas has been overcome with guilt, and now that many people are aware of the affair, it is only a matter of time before she is found out.
When Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) observed Chas and Al leaving a hotel together, she became the first to learn.
The affair is also known to Cain, who is presently incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit.
Aaron Dingle, Chas’ son (Danny Miller), even left the community after learning of his mother’s treachery.
In order to secure justice for her mother, Kerry Wyatt, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) has also made it her mission to discover who Al was having an affair with (Laura Norton).
So far, the youngster has drawn the incorrect conclusions and has accused Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) and Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) of having an affair with Al.
The executive producer of Emmerdale claims that viewers won’t have to wait long to learn Chas’ secret, though.
Jane Hudson talked exclusively to thesuns.info and other media outlets, sharing details of a “explosive Christmas” in Emmerdale.
Since their affair has been revealed, Paddy and Chas are forced to spend Christmas together, which does not go well, she said. They are in their absolute worst situation.
Jane continued by explaining how the storyline involving Chas and Paddy will develop in the coming year:
“We will see Paddy and Chas and how you try to navigate trying to be the best parents when your marriage is falling apart when one of you has had an affair.
It will be very serious and quite heartbreaking to watch what happens to one of our favorite couples as they travel until we tear them apart.
When Cain’s half-brother Caleb Miligan (Will Ash) unexpectedly shows up in the village, it creates another major plot point for the Dingle family.
When Caleb first visits Cain in jail, Cain will be at a loss for words, Jane predicted.
He will receive a visit from his brother on Christmas Day, she said.
We will learn that Caleb has known about Cain for 30 years when he visits him in jail.
And on Christmas Day, we’ll go back to 1992 to find out how Cain and Caleb first met.
What was happening with Chas at that time, and why Cain later rejected him from his life.
The producer added, “We have three fantastic actors playing a young Cain, Caleb, and Chas.
“Rewind is a fantastic episode that explains a lot about their ancestry.
“And despite Cain’s best efforts, Caleb is not going anywhere for another 30 years.
“He wants to meet his sister Chas and the rest of his extended family,” says the speaker.
