Daisy Campbell, Rosie Bentham and Katie Hill (who play Amelia Spencer, Gabby Thomas and Sarah Sugden respectively) may not get too many scenes together in Emmerdale, but that doesn’t stop them being great friends, as a recent pic posted to Daisy’s Instagram shows.
Daisy has captioned the photo ‘3 amigos 💋’ and it shows her in a bar posing happily for the camera with Katie and Daisy. The picture has had plenty of love from Daisy’s thousands of followers, with fans united in their admiration.
Rosie and Daisy are close friends who even go on vacation together, so she frequently appears in Daisy’s Instagram feed. After both of them had their bags stolen on the second night of a recent trip to Ibiza, things took a turn for the worse.
Despite the challenging circumstances, they managed to have fun. “It would be us to have all of our bags taken on the second night, leaving us without phones for the majority of the vacation.” But we enjoyed the moment while waiting for new phones, Daisy said.
Daisy is currently in the midst of a dramatic time for her character Amelia Spencer, who has found out she is pregnant with Samson’s (Sam Hall) child and has just started dating a former bad boy named Noah (Jack Downham), something Kerry (Laura Norton) is doing everything in her power to stop.
Daisy expressed her excitement for filming the birth scenes and said she was “over the moon” with the pregnancy storyline:
She told us, “I’m a little worried, but I’m really excited because I’ve done my prep and stuff so I know where to go with it.” Overall, “I think it’s really exciting,”
Being born around the time of the show’s 50th anniversary, when we know there will be major drama involving a huge storm that wrecks havoc and devastation in the village, may make it even more exciting.
According to showrunner Jane Hudson’s (partial) revelation, Amelia will be directly in the middle of the action.
‘Amelia will be here soon. I obviously won’t tell you if she gives birth during the 50th celebration or not. Amelia does have a significant impact on the storm, and since she’s lost and alone, someone needs to find her. She therefore has a significant role.
