Emmerdale fans 'work out' Nicky's true identity after Dawn Taylor betrayal

After rejecting Gabby Thomas’ romantic advances on Tuesday, Nicky, a newcomer to Emmerdale, revealed his true colors.
Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), a character on Emmerdale, has had bad luck with men, particularly since Jamie Tate (Lincoln Alexander) faked his own death and abandoned her to raise their child by herself. Since then, Gabby has focused on being Thomas’ mother and, more recently, has been determined to win over Kim Tate (Claire King).

Recently, Gabby and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) fought for a position working directly for the owner of Home Farm.

When Kim first hired Dawn, she also hired newcomer Nicky (Lewis Cope) to take care of the kids.

However, Dawn decided to leave when she realized she would miss the children’s development, leaving Kim unimpressed.

Gabby had the opportunity to demonstrate her capabilities, but she didn’t have the best of starts.

When she messed up the brochures for The Hide, the aspiring businesswoman was compelled to make it up to Kim.

However, after the episode on Tuesday, Gabby appeared to be making progress.

Gabby made the decision to toast her fruitful day of pitching her educational concepts with a bottle of bubbly.

The single mother extended an invitation to newcomer Nicky to join her, and it was obvious that she would not accept a refusal.

But when Gabby went in for the unexpected kiss with Nicky, things took an unexpected turn.

Gabby was horrified when Nicky turned down her romantic advances, much to her embarrassment.

Viewers have started to wonder about the nanny’s true identity ever since she moved to the village.

Many people have concluded that he is associated with Jamie Tate, Gabby’s ex-boyfriend.

However, in a new theory, fans think they have worked out Nicky’s true identity.

Others believe Nicky likes Dawn, while some have hypothesized that the nanny may be hiding his sexual orientation.

Heidi wrote, “We bet he likes Dawn,” and @msmarbella concurred, “I think Nick is after Dawn.”

Maggie speculated: “Gabby really he is a spy for Jamie & fancies dull Dawn who has gone back to her dull scruffy self now that she chucked a once-in-a-lifetime job.”

“Dawn & Gabby are unaware of their good fortune in Kim. Or, he might be Arthur’s business partner.” (sic)
