Fans of Emmerdale are confident that David Metcalfe, who recently ended his painful relationship with Victoria Sugden, will get back together with Leyla Harding.
When Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) discovered David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) had attempted to frame her for his driving offense, she ended their relationship. Viewers of the ITV soap opera are now persuaded that the heartbroken character will seek solace from his ex-girlfriend Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) as she divorces Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).
David recently got caught speeding, and in an effort to keep his license, he claimed Victoria was the one driving, so she would get the points instead of him.
He received a letter from the police addressed to Victoria, which contained all of his lies, so his deception quickly backfired.
He was forced to tell Victoria the truth because he had no choice; however, Victoria made it clear that if he didn’t, she would call the police on her own.
In an effort to save his relationship, David went to the police station and cleared her name.
He thought everything would have been forgiven, but Victoria disagreed, calling David “weak and selfish.”
When he got home, Victoria was packing a suitcase, so he asked: “Vic, what are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing?” Victoria retorted.
David, speechless, asked, “Can we not talk about this?”
I’ve tried to talk about it over and over, but you are too engrossed in David’s world to think of anything but yourself, she snarled.
She continued: “You’re a child David. A stupid, spoilt, weak, selfish little child and I’m done looking after you.”
Their row has left viewers predicting David will go running back to his ex Leyla.

Grianne continued: “How long will it be before the writers completely have David and Leyla reuniting, given that they are both actually single at the same time? especially now that she is relocating in? In reality, they do have a child together.”
Leyla will reconcile with David, Mick wrote, “I’ll lay money on it.”
Cinders continued while adding: “David is a disaster, end of story, and I’m so glad Victoria got rid of him! #Emmerdale.” (sic)
If only Vic had known David was a selfish, helpless child before falling for his “charms,” Pam remarked on Emmerdale.
Their remarks follow the confirmation of Leyla and Liam’s separation earlier this week following a year of traumatic events.
The couple has made efforts to resolve their differences, but they have ultimately decided to part ways.
