Cain Dingle, an Emmerdale bad boy who was accused of shooting Al Chapman, is currently incarcerated. The mechanic, however, will experience yet another surprise in the coming weeks when his half-brother visits the community.
This Christmas, Will Ash will join Emmerdale as Caleb Milligan, a brand-new character, and viewers are wondering how his plot will develop. Cain, who is portrayed by Jeff Hordley, is his half-brother and is currently incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit. Only a select few of the mechanic’s friends and family members are aware that Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) actually killed Al (Michael Wildman).
When Cain finally sees his long-lost brother, it’s a tense reunion as Caleb grills the bad guy with probing questions.
The relationship between Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain will be further strained by Caleb’s arrival, according to ITV executives.
Since Cain learned that Chas had been having an affair with Al, the two have been at odds.
Additionally, Chas thinks her brother killed her lover Al.
The forthcoming storyline, according to executive producer Laura Shaw, will be as follows: “Will Ash is a welcome addition to the Village, and we couldn’t be happier.
“It’s wonderful to have an actor of this caliber and talent join our fantastic group.
“Caleb has to be the most unexpected and shocking Christmas present Cain and Chas have ever received, appearing on screen on Christmas Day!
“At first glance, Caleb is everything his brother isn’t: calm, in charge, wealthy, and successful. But will they discover they have more in common than they initially thought?
How will the rest of the family react when Caleb strolls into town? What secrets from the past will come back to haunt them?
The Dingles’ lives are about to change drastically as a result of his arrival, and 2023 is sure to get off to a fast start.
“I’m thrilled to be joining such an iconic show,” Will Ash continued.
“Emmerdale has so many great actors, and I’m looking forward to working with them all.
I’m eager to dive into Caleb’s fantastically complex character.
However, since the announcement of Caleb’s arrival in the village, fans have developed their own hypotheses.
People speculate that Caleb might turn out to be Chloe Harris’ (Jessie Elland) father.
For the youngster, who recently learned that Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) was her real mother, this will come as yet another shocker.
Farida posed the following question on social media as people shared their opinions: “I wonder if Cain’s brother is Chloe’s dad?”
Angela disclosed: “How come this brother’s parents have never been mentioned before? I predict he is Chloe’s father.” (sic)
Could this be Chloe’s father, Heather questioned?
It would be a surprising twist if he turned out to be Chole’s father, Cain discovered him in jail, and they discovered everything together before they were released, said Craig. (sic)
The relationship between Cain and Caleb’s families confused some other fans. Kat wrote: “I was told that Nathan was the name of Cain’s older brother (who was mentioned once in the 1990s but never appeared)! And not Cain, but Zak’s (Mandy’s Dad) brother Caleb Dingle!” (sic)
In Phil’s opinion: “So, is this the Vera-Lynn Dingle’s husband and father of Mandy Dingle? If so, he has undoubtedly lost a significant amount of time. Additionally, he does not resemble Mike Kelly. Which Dingles are related to which and how? I am so confused! Or is Caleb Dingle someone else?”
Alex continued, saying “We think more details are needed in this case, Emmerdale. Is he Faith’s, Shadrach’s, or Zak’s child? He would be Faith’s child if he were Cain and Chas’ brother, right?”
