On the most recent episode of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, a dangerous drug dealer threw Leyla Harding into the trunk of a car, leaving viewers on edge of their seats.
On Tuesday’s Emmerdale episode, evil drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley) abducted Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), endangering her life in the process. However, viewers caught a mistake as the thug threw Leyla into the trunk of the car.
Leyla began to feel bad in the most recent ITV soap opera episode after Callum accidentally hit Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) in the head with a brick, causing her to pass out.
When the police informed Leyla that Callum had an alibi for the assault and that there was insufficient evidence to identify him at the scene, her rage increased.
Finally awake in her hospital bed, Suzy was terrified the drug dealer would return to finish the job.
When Leyla began receiving threatening texts from Callum, the pressure on her increased.
She expressed her worries to Caleb Milligan (Will Ash), but then she made an impulsive choice that she later regretted.
The Emmerdale character made the risky decision to meet Callum alone and away from the village.
Leyla was ultimately abducted after the situation worsened.
Following the dramatic episode of the ITV soap opera, viewers flocked to Twitter, where many of them raised concerns about Leyla’s kidnapping.
Fans were perplexed as to how no one witnessed the horrific kidnapping since it appeared to occur on the main road leading into the village.
Isn’t that the main road into the village and yet nobody drives along it? #Emmerdale, said Penny Irvine.
Carole also said “I know Leyla is stupid but if someone is mad at you and has you squashed up a car it’s not going to end well so when he tells you to act normal on the phone to someone who could help you – don’t! #Emmerdale.” (sic)
Dawn Marie stated: “So in the middle of the countryside miles away from anything and anyone is the best place to meet your ex-drug dealer who almost killed your son and tried to kill your mate! OK Leyla! #emmerdale.”
Chris Hyde Cooper tweeted: “Leyla raised her legs and leaped into the trunk of the vehicle! #emmerdale.”
“I see Leyla’s wearing clothes in preparation for being kidnapped, being held for a week without using the bathroom, and coming out of it as if she’s just walked off the catwalk,” Pam continued.
As Jane Williams said: “For the love of God, #Emmerdale As if you would travel alone to meet that lunatic, Leyla.” (sic)
