Viewers of Emmerdale are certain that in upcoming scenes Cain Dingle will attempt to “pin” Al Chapman’s murder on his very own sister Chas Dingle.
When Jeff Hordley’s portrayal of Emmerdale legend Cain Dingle revealed his son Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) was responsible for killing Al Chapman, he rendered Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) speechless (Michael Wildman). In order to protect his young son, Cain admitted guilt to the businessman’s murder. However, many ITV viewers are confident that Cain will ultimately try to frame his sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) for the crime.
Al was lured to a barn by Cain after learning of his sister’s affair, where Cain confronted Al.
Cain had a gun but made it clear he had no plans to use it, and the two got into a violent altercation.
Al was ultimately fatally shot, and Cain was subsequently accused of murder.
He entered a guilty plea on Friday’s episode of the ITV soap opera, but it has since been revealed that he was actually defending his son Kyle.
When Moira visited Cain in jail, she was perplexed and questioned him about whether throwing away everything was worthwhile.
“Do you have any idea of the harm you have done,” she yelled.
The boys are a complete mess, and Isaac keeps asking for you and fears that I’m going to leave him as well. And as for Kyle, let’s not even begin.
Kyle was “putting on a front” and pretending he was not hurt, Moira said in response to Cain’s concern about how he was acting.
Cain warned Moira not to let Kyle speak to anyone after she told him she wanted to bring Kyle to therapy.
Cain replied, “Because it was him, Moira, I didn’t shoot Al, Kyle did,” when she pressed him to explain.
The episode ended on a major cliffhanger, and viewers immediately took to Twitter to speculate about how the plot will develop.
Someone, please find a way to blame Chas for the murder #emmerdale, Caz wrote.
Author Annie Sugden wrote: “When Moira realizes that Al was the target of Cain’s pursuit because of Chas’ affair, which led Kyle to inadvertently shoot Al while entering a barn. I wouldn’t want Chas’ position. With her #Emmerdale, Moira will dominate.” (sic)
Grianne declared “I can’t wait to see Chas’ expression when she realizes once more how seriously she screwed up by accusing the wrong person of murder. Her actions effectively transformed her own nephew into a murderer. Sadly, #Emmerdale, Kyle was clearly trying to shield his father.”
Bovary remarked: “Selfishness is elevated to a whole new level by #Chas. She then includes the pretended concern for Kerry. The time has come to reveal this secret. #Emmerdale.” (sic)
Comment from Yasmin “Right, Kyle’s actions spoke for themselves. Okay, is there any way that the writers can blame Chas for this and save Kyle and Cain? She is deserving of everything bad.”
Alison continued: “Will Cain blame Chas for this? Considering that he texted Al to meet “her” at the barn from her phone?” (sic)
Chas has yet to confess her affair with Al to her husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt).
Will they plan to conspire against Chas and accuse her of killing Al if Cain decides to tell Moira about the adultery?
