Amelia was delighted by Samson’s sudden enthusiasm but Emmerdale viewers are not convinced
Emmerdale viewers fear for Amelia Spencer’s unborn child and foresee a’sinister’ twist involving Samson Dingle, the baby’s ‘devious’ father.
The magical moment was ruined when Samson met his child for the first time after he was injured in the storm. The young mother gave birth to a daughter and revealed that her name was Esther because it means “star.”
Samson told the infant in distressing scenes that he didn’t want to be her father and that he wouldn’t let her ruin his life. Samson, however, has a sudden change of heart in Wednesday night’s episode of the ITV soap opera and decides to accompany Amelia to register the baby.
Amelia was thrilled by Samson’s sudden enthusiasm and believed he was finally accepting that he is the father.
Fans, however, are not entirely on board with Samson’s change of heart because they think he is plotting something “sinister” that might harm the unborn child.
Viewers couldn’t help but share their predictions on social media right away. I don’t suppose Samson is planning to place the child up for adoption, tweeted @cupcakecoutur12? #emmerdale He’s up to something.

While @Wee Westie29 added: I believe Samson intends to forge Amelia’s signature in order to secretly or openly place Esther for adoption. #Emmerdale.”
