Since Alex Moore first appeared in the village as Naomi Walter’s potential love interest, Emmerdale viewers have developed a suspicion for the newcomer.
Naomi Walters, portrayed by Karene Peters in Emmerdale, appears to have been completely won over by Liam Boyle’s portrayal of Alex Moore. However, her father and vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) has already voiced his concerns to Manpreet Sharma and Ethan Anderson (Emile Johns) after seeing right through the criminal (Rebecca Sarker). Charles might witness the devastation of his family in later scenes when Manpreet is fatally attacked.
Last week, Manpreet advised her partner to follow his instincts, admitting that she wished she had done so with her sister Meena Jutla, a serial killer (Paige Sandhu).
It appears that Charles’ worries will come true in the scenes that will air the following week.
ITV’s official spoilers reveal that the vicar is still taking responsibility for how he treated Alex.
However, as soon as Manpreet’s phone call about the surgery’s drug delivery is overheard, we see Alex’s ears perk up.

However, as soon as Manpreet’s phone call about the surgery’s drug delivery is overheard, we see Alex’s ears perk up.
He quickly places a call himself, and the following day, Alex struggles to maintain composure when a stranger calls.
When Alex says he has a job interview that day, Naomi and Charles, who are blissfully unaware of everything, are hopeful.
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) are conversing outside of the village when Belle notices Alex handing money to an unknown woman.
Later, when Alex enters the Woolpack and acknowledges that his interview went well, Belle must make the difficult choice of whether to reveal to Naomi what Alex was actually doing.
Naomi is skeptical until Chas confirms Belle’s sighting of Alex to her.
When Naomi confronts her new boyfriend, he promises to explain everything after she catches him lying about the fake job interview in the beer garden.
On the spot, he comes up with an innocent justification for his encounter with the mysterious woman and tells Noami about it.
He explains he’s been helping her financially after meeting Max’s father in prison after introducing Naomi to Clare and her son Max.
When Alex re-connects with mystery Clare, it is revealed that his relationship with Naomi is a sham and that he is plotting to rob the surgery, even though Naomi believes their relationship is stronger than ever.
Liam and Manpreet deal with problems caused by the surgery being closed because the electrics were vandalized the following day.
Before stealing Manpreet’s surgery keys from her bag, Alex listens intently to what she is saying.
Soon after, Alex enters the surgery with a crowbar in hand in search of the medications.
Manpreet arrives at the clinic and is surprised to see the front door open. She immediately goes to her office without realizing Alex is waiting there with the crowbar raised.
This week, Dawn is horrified to learn that Naomi has fallen for Alex and she tries to intervene, but will it be successful?
Will Alex ultimately succeed in his quest to obtain the drugs by killing Manpreet, or will the GP be able to flee before it’s too late?
