On Monday’s dramatic episode of Emmerdale, Suzy Merton received a brick to the head from drug dealer Callum played by Leyla Harding.
After devising a strategy to take down drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley), Suzy Merton (played by Martelle Edinborough) and Leyla Harding (Roxi Shahidi) believed they were Emmerdale’s crime-fighting team. The thief knocked Suzy out with a brick, leaving her lifeless body alone in the dark, and the episode on Monday ended horrifyingly.
A terrified Leyla replied: “Well stop them because if Callum gets even a whiff that it is us then Jacob will be done for.”
“Why else would I be putting my neck on the line if I didn’t realise how serious it was?” Suzy exclaimed.
“Leyla, you back down now and Callum is definitely going to come after you.
“At least you are putting up a fight,” Suzy added, but Leyla was not keen on her plan at all.
“Well stop them because if Callum gets even a whiff that it is us then Jacob will be done for,” a terrified Leyla retorted.
Why else would I be risking my life if I didn’t understand how serious the situation was? Suzy shouted.
“Leyla, if you back down now, Callum will undoubtedly pursue you.
Suzy continued, “At least you are fighting,” but Leyla had no interest in her strategy.
Soon after, Suzy called Leyla from outside Take a Vow to let her know the plan was successful, but Callum cut her off.
I knew it would be you, you stupid little b***h, the thug yelled.
Suzy was struck in the head by a brick as Callum ran away.
Unaware that Suzy was in danger, Leyla attempted to call her friend back.
Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) discovered Suzy’s body while she was unconscious and called for an ambulance to take care of her.
Will Leyla advise Suzy to stay away for her son’s safety if she survives?
Will Leyla be there for Suzy as she recovers and realizes she was only trying to help, or will she remain distant?
Leyla is blaming Suzy when she actually caused this mess, Mike tweeted about Emmerdale.
James stated: “You don’t really do yourself any favors, Leyla, do you? #Emmerdale.”
“Wake up, little Suzy, wake up #emmerdale,” Liam continued.
“I thought Suzy was more streetwise than that, her idea was so stupid,” Teena remarked.
