Following the arrival of the mechanic’s long-lost brother, Caleb Miligan, Cain Dingle and Moira Barton of Emmerdale might end up being torn apart.
Jeff Hordley’s portrayal of Cain Dingle, the bad boy of Emmerdale, is presently incarcerated for the murder of Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).
Since then, though, it has been revealed that Cain is innocent and is defending his son, Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn). The Dingle family is already dealing with enough drama, and Caleb Miligan’s arrival will only make matters worse (Will Ash).
After his half-brother visits him in jail, Cain will experience flashbacks in upcoming scenes.
Especially after he informed Cain that their mother Faith (Sally Dexter) had passed away 20 years prior, Cain doesn’t trust Caleb.
Although Cain may be seeking retaliation because Caleb only recently realized that he had been lying to him the entire time.
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media about his plot and whether Caleb wants to exact revenge on Cain, Will said: “Initially when he comes in, even though he’s got an axe to grind with him, he wants to connect with his family.
Even though there is a kind of simmering resentment and bitterness, he wants to have a relationship with Cain and Chas in order to connect with them.
Fans have also used social media since the announcement of Caleb’s arrival to express their opinions on the plot.
With Cain being imprisoned, many people think Moira’s (Natalie J. Robb) head may be turned.
Another Cain family member for Moira to sleep with, Karen hypothesized.
June asked: “So does Moira have a fling with him?”
“I suppose he’s going to become Moria’s next squeeze? Please get Cain out and back with Moira,” Tatiana predicted.
The Moira Barton actress has also opened up about whether she will grow closer to Caleb, with Cain behind bars.
“The thing about Moira is that she tries to keep families together even though she might go astray,” the actress explained.
She later added: “She does want her husband back, but we all know she has got a good sexual appetite.”
When asked whether Moira will trust Caleb, Natalie continued: “She wants to believe him (Caleb) and she wants to trust him.
“She is honest with him (Cain) and she does go and tell him that she going against everything he asked her not to do.
She has to deal with the fact that he treats her badly and implies that their marriage might end.
Will Moira’s betrayal affect Cain and Moira’s marriage, and will the alluring Caleb succeed in winning her over?
Fans will be treated to a flashback episode on Boxing Day that will examine the first time a young Cain met Caleb.
Although their mother had passed away, Cain informed his estranged brother to leave his family alone.
