ITV’s upcoming holiday extravaganza Britain Get Singing will have a star-studded cast from some of the most popular shows on television.
In a sing-off, the celebrities will put their vocal prowess to the test in an effort to impress the studio audience and Super Panel.
Tasha Ghouri, Paige Thorne, Antigoni Buxton, Danica Taylor, Andrew Le Page, and Luca Bish will compete for team Love Island.
Can they defeat Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan, and Darragh Ennis from The Chase?
Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards, Denise Welch, Judi Love, Linda Robson, and Kelle Bryan will be on the Team Loose Women panel.
There will be a soap opera competition between Michael Le Vell, Sue Devaney, Daniel Brocklebank, Rob Mallard, Jodie Prenger, and Channique Sterling-Brown of Coronation Street and Lisa Riley, Mark Charnock, Daisy Campbell, Jay Kontzle, Lawrence Robb, Bradley Johnson, and Olivia Bromley of Emmerdale.
Moving segments in which the celebrities discuss their own experiences with mental health will also be included in the TV event, which was created and produced by Lifted Entertainment in support of ITV’s mental health campaign Britain Get Talking.
People are urged by Britain Get Talking to take care of their mental health by interacting with others. By interrupting Britain’s Got Talent’s live broadcast, it was first introduced in 2019. In an episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly brought up the campaign to nudge viewers who were having a hard time in lockdown to talk to one another.
Shirley Hancock, Maya Jama, Captain Tom Moore, and Susanna Reid are just a few of the famous people who have appeared in the campaign, which has been featured in 100 million new or important conversations among Brits since its launch.
