There was a shock in store for the market trader.
In tonight’s episode of EastEnders, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) learned she was carrying Zack Hudson’s (James Farrar) child (6th December).
Whitney’s housemates Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) and Finlay (Ashley Byam) were determined to throw her a birthday party as her 30th birthday drew near. But friend Chelsea Fox noticed that Whit appeared to be out of sorts (Zaraah Abrahams).
Whitney later left Shrimpy (Ben Champniss, who last week displayed his piano skills on screen) in charge of her market stall and hurried to the pharmacy, where her predicament quickly became apparent as she had her eye on the last pregnancy test on the shelf.
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), the mother of Whit’s niece Lily (Lillia Turner), walked by at that time
when it became clear to the two women that they were seeking to buy the same thing. Stacey and Whitney shared the two tests from the pack at the Slaters’ house as they talked about their conceivable pregnancies.
Given that she was still grieving the arrest of her ex-beau Kheerat Panesar, Stacey noted that at least Whit’s father wouldn’t be behind bars (Jaz Deol). When Whitney was married to Lee Carter, her most recent pregnancy ended in miscarriage, which she discussed (Danny Hatchard).
After finishing their tests, Stacey questioned Whitney about whether she anticipated having a good birthday. Yes, Whitney said in response to Whitney’s inquiry about Stacey’s wellbeing. Stacey’s response suggested that she wasn’t expecting, but Whit’s experience was different.
They surprised her with the party idea when she was back at home with Chelsea and the boys, and she thanked them. Whitney revealed to Chelsea in private, however, that she had an affair with Zack and was now carrying his child.
