Fans of the BBC serial opera eastenders should start getting ready to say goodbye to Dana (Barbara Smith), who is scheduled to leave the show tonight.
The departure occurs after Jada’s shocking departure in yesterday night’s episode as a result of Janine’s manipulation (Charlie Brooks).
Dana’s departure, however, is less shocking because it was previously announced.
With the title “Dana’s saying her goodbyes,” EastEnders sent a video to Twitter to help viewers get ready for her departure. On #EastEnders at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
In the video, Dana and Bobby Beale have an emotional talk (Clay Milner Russell). Over the past year, the two have experienced ups and downs, with Dana most recently sleeping with Bobby’s brother, Peter (Dayle Hudson).
Dana says in the following scene that Bobby is the reason she is able to leave and that their relationship was unique. She advises him to be himself when he meets the appropriate women because he is ideal.

Dana will leave and go to college after that.
It’s definitely for the best that she has a fresh start after her brother’s incarceration and subsequent stabbing in jail as well as her father’s tumultuous relationship with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).
