The birth of the twin babies of EastEnders actor Matt Di Angelo and his wife Sophie has been officially announced.
In April of this year, the actor who portrayed Dean Wicks in the BBC One serial opera revealed Sophie was pregnant.
In the video posted on his social media, Matt and Sophie fired two confetti cannons.
Sophia confirmed they would also soon be bringing a baby girl into the world after Matt revealed they were carrying a boy!
The lottery of life, has a ways to go, but we feel VERY grateful, Matt wrote beside the video. The girls will be called POT, and the boy will be called JACK.
Four months later, Matt has now shared two gorgeous photos of the newborns on his Instagram account.
He wrote: “My beautiful wife @sophiaperry has given birth to two joyful, healthy babies and has started parenting them.” with the photos. In the kitchen, I’m figuring out how to use the steriliser. To the world, Raphael and Daphne, welcome. My dynamite team. 15/08/2022’.
Congratulations, mate!! James Bye (Martin Fowler), one of Matt’s co-stars on EastEnders, was among the many lovely messages he received from fans and fellow cast members. Gorgeous! I love you all.
Congratulations to you all, said Danielle Harold, who plays Lola Pearce, adding, “Owwww I’m in love.”
From 2006 to 2008, Matt portrayed Dean Wicks in EastEnders.
Then, in 2014, Dean made a comeback and took part in a plot that saw him rape Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Shirley Carter, Dean’s mother, revealed that she is Mick’s (Danny Dyer) mother and not his sister as Dean returned to Walford.
