After Mick (Danny Dyer), the love of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), disappeared in tragic circumstances in the Christmas Day episode of EastEnders, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is currently mourning his passing.
Linda has understandably been devastated by Mick’s passing, especially after they recently rekindled their romance and confirmed that they still saw a future together before he disappeared. Birthdays, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day are some of the most difficult holidays for those who are grieving.
Linda dreads February 14 because it is only a few weeks after losing Mick. Kellie Bright informed us about the scene she had recently been filming in December.
Our hearts are genuinely breaking just thinking about that scene where she said, “We just filmed some Valentine’s Day stuff and there’s a little picture of Mick up behind the bar and I wish him a happy Valentine’s Day and blow him a kiss.”
In that way, he’s still very present for her, Kellie continued.
Life goes on, though, and for Linda that means a significant upcoming plotline. She told us, “I know I’m a part of something that’s going to be quite big and I’m excited about that.”
Chris Clenshaw, the executive producer of the program, continued, “Kellie is going to start shooting something in January that goes out in February and it’s something that we as a program haven’t done before. In the middle of that is Linda.
So there’s plenty to look forward to for Linda as she learns to navigate her life in a world without her soul mate in it.
