Linda Carter has struggled to move past her marriage to Mick Carter despite filing for divorce.
The former spouses will have another on-screen interaction next week in EastEnders, and the chemistry between them is still evident.
Danny Dyer’s character, the landlord of the Vic, has left Albert Square with Janine Butcher in order to be with his two sons, Johnny and Lee.
Linda (played by Kellie Bright) was left in charge of the neighborhood pub, and she unexpectedly received assistance from a recurring character named Alfie Moon.
Mick and Janine return to Walford in scenes that will air on BBC One the following week after their trip.
Fans of the London-based drama were excited to see Linda reunited with her flame after her comeback before Tina Carter’s funeral.
Even though their relationship ended because of Linda’s alcoholism, it is obvious that the two still care about one another.
As soon as Mick enters the Vic, Linda and Mick talk about his absence.
However, just as they are about to share a moment, a major revelation regarding Mick’s relationship with Janine interrupts them.
The EastEnders villain, who is notorious for her cunning and deceitful methods, has succeeded in causing friction between Mick and Linda in an effort to keep her man by her side.
This included hoping Linda wouldn’t remember a car accident after leaving her for dead.
Janine only recently discovered she was expecting, but she was prepared to go far behind Mick’s back.
Is she really prepared to give him her all?
Could Linda and Mick’s relationship blossom again?
As actor Danny Dyer is preparing for an explosive exit, fans are anticipating the holiday season to learn the answer.
The Cockney actor was seen filming his final scenes, which are scheduled to air during the Christmas season.
But since Charlie Brooks, who plays Janine, is with him on location, viewers are worried that she might once again display her murderous tendencies.
At the start of the new year, Janine will make a dramatic exit of her own, just as her on-screen brother Ricky (played by Sid Owen) will be making a comeback to the Square.
What will happen in the love triangle?
