When Mitch Baker’s two nephews decide to leave their home, EastEnders viewers can expect to see Karen Taylor supporting her partner.
It’s no secret that Karen (Lorraine Stanley) and her husband Mitch (Roger Griffiths) in the BBC soap opera have struggled with money. When his nephews Felix (Matthew Morrison) and Finlay Baker (Ashley Byam) arrived in the square, those quickly got worse. However, viewers will see the pair make a move in scenes that will air the following week that might annoy Mitch.
The brothers quickly learned that their father, Avery Baker (Omar Lye-Fook), had no money when he passed away earlier in the soap opera from terminal cancer.
As a result, a debt collector took his car, forcing the two brothers to move out of their old home and into one with their uncle Mitch and his partner Karen.
The two decide to persuade Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams), who is having her own financial difficulties, to move in with her because they don’t want to continue to be a burden on their uncle.
Karen can see how much Mitch will miss the two boys in scenes that will air the following week.
Chelsea made the decision to allow Felix and Finlay to move into the home she shares with Whitney in order to keep it.
However, it becomes apparent in later scenes that she neglected to inform Whitney about the brothers when Whitney is startled to discover them in her house.
She dashes to the Vic to confront Chelsea and ask her why she chose to hide the two brothers’ move in from her.
She is initially shocked, but she decides to give Finlay and Felix a chance and lets them stay in the house to start a new life.
She then flirts with Finlay, which might cause a tense situation to develop in the house if boundaries are crossed.
Felix makes the decision to host a housewarming dinner for everyone else in Albert Square and is happy to see that things between Whitney and Finlay are getting better after they implement some house rules.
Finlay then goes to the laundromat with his brother in order to get help with his clothes.
According to an thesuns.info theory, he decides to tell his brother about the flirtation he had earlier with Whitney while they are both in the laundromat.
Furious, Felix orders Finlay to refrain from approaching her as they are only now beginning to settle into their own apartment.
However, since this might be her first romantic encounter since Gray killed Kush, a secret relationship might be in the works.
Actress Zaraah Abrahams hinted that there might be problems before it was revealed who Whitney and Chelsea’s new roommates would be.
There will be some fun, but I think it might get messy between a couple of the housemates, she predicted.
The Eastenders actress has also urged Don Gilet, who plays her on-screen father Lucas Johnson, to return to the soap opera.
Zaraah jokingly claimed that she has been “stalking” him in an effort to persuade him to come back.
I think it’s unrequited love, he hears the phone ring, hears my name, and thinks, “Leave me alone!” she said.
