Denise Fox of EastEnders is happily wed to Jack Branning, but there may be issues due to Chelsea Fox’s closeness to her husband.
Fans of EastEnders rejoiced when Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) wed on Christmas Day of last year following a turbulent romance that saw the couple break up before reconciling. However, when Denise becomes envious of her husband’s relationship with Chelsea Fox, the couple’s marriage may experience difficulties (Zaraah Abrahams).
Fans of EastEnders will recall that Chelsea and Jack once had a romantic relationship.
The brief discussion of their past occurred when Chelsea visited Walford once again in 2020.
She made it clear she wasn’t seriously interested in Jack despite trying to seduce him shortly after she returned in an effort to hide her crimes, and she was thrilled when he proposed to Denise.
However, in upcoming scenes, Denise might start to think her husband and daughter are having an affair.
Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) starts his new job as Walford’s postman the following week.
He delivers the bills to a concerned Chelsea who feels unable to ask Denise for assistance.
When Chelsea’s washing machine malfunctions, the young mother is unable to afford to fix it.
Denise and Jack’s washing machine must be used covertly, but she is discovered by them.
Jack offers to give Chelsea some money so she can repair the damaged appliance, but he suspects she is hesitant because she worries Denise will find out.
He consents to keep it between them while advising her to take action to strengthen her financial situation.
Later on in the week, a desperate Chelsea asks Jack for more assistance, but he declines.
He informs her that he cannot give her any more money without arousing Denise’s suspicion.
When Denise overhears the two talking, she immediately recognizes how close they are.
Jack advises Chelsea to think about making some extra money by renting out some of her home’s rooms.
Denise is irritated by the cordial exchange despite being unaware of her daughter’s financial issues.
Will she start to suspect that the former lovers are flirting with each other?
Chelsea is still getting used to being a new mother after abuser Gray Atkins was found guilty (Toby-Alexander Smith).
Gray was apprehended for his crimes after valiantly resisting the master manipulator; he is currently incarcerated.
The young mother is concentrating on raising her baby boy and has not yet moved on from her husband.
Will Chelsea meet someone new once she gets a handle on her money issues?
