Alfie Moon, a fan favorite on EastEnders, has only recently returned, but his scheming is already causing problems in the Square. He and the landlady, Linda Carter, will argue in upcoming episodes about his scheme to increase revenue for the bar.
Alfie (played by Shane Richie) appears to be returning to work behind the bar at The Vic soon, but it’s obvious he starts to feel a little too at home as he comes up with a plan that his boss Linda (Kellie Bright) finds objectionable. Even though EastEnders fans may be happy to see the Walford staple return, Alfie’s lies and deceit upset more people than just Linda, and he finds himself in trouble the following week. Could this heighten resentment toward the Mitchells?
Alfie will treat his kids to a day at a theme park in upcoming scenes.
He does, however, inform Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), saying that he is taking the boys to a museum.
They went to a theme park, as Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) reveals when they get back from their trip.
Following Alfie’s attempt to defend lying to her, an enraged Kat storms out.
Later, Alfie struggles to attract customers to The Vic and devises a strategy to do so.
He decides to take advantage of the circumstance after observing that everyone is attending Jay Brown’s (Jamie Borthwick) surprise party that evening at Peggy’s.
Profiting from the situation, he lies once more, claiming that Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) changed the party’s location to a pub.
Linda confronts Alfie after realizing this and tells him his plans won’t be accepted at The Vic, but Alfie won’t budge.
The two are probably going to disagree over the circumstance, which will make Alfie’s plans to recover The Vic more challenging.
To make matters worse, the Mitchell family owns Peggy’s, and if his scheme succeeds, they will probably be enraged that Alfie stole their customers.
Alfie and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) are already rivals because Phil plans to wed Alfie’s ex, Kat.
The EastEnders gangster will probably use all of his resources to get rid of Alfie because he is aware of his desire to win Kat back.
Phil will probably retaliate because Alfie’s most recent plan only serves to make matters worse.
Knowing how badly Alfie wants The Vic, Phil could make sure no one will give him the opportunity and might even get him fired from the bar.
Phil’s warning might cause Linda to take drastic action because she already had misgivings about him.
Given her concern for his behavior and desire to avoid a rift with the Mitchells, she might ask him to leave.
Will Phil’s hatred for Alfie ever come to an end? After this, the tough guy might decide to start planning some real retaliation because it would be uncharacteristic of him to simply leave Alfie alone.
Phil already has enough reason to try to expel Alfie from Walford after he ruined Phil and Kat’s wedding earlier this month.
But given the events surrounding Peggy’s, might he decide to go even further?
As long as Alfie is present, Phil might feel that his relationship with Kat and his businesses are in jeopardy.
Maybe he’ll decide to threaten Alfie and tell him to get out of the Square.
Phil typically issues dire warnings, and he has a number of shady contacts who can carry out his dirty work.
By threatening to have Alfie killed if he doesn’t leave, could he use this as a form of blackmail?
Alfie returned to avert Kat and Phil’s wedding, but he also wants to establish a connection with his kids.
Alfie was upset that he thought they preferred Phil and made the decision that he should treat them like proper children.
He won’t likely listen to Phil as a result of this, but what might this mean?
Will Phil really decide to permanently fire Alfie now that the two are headed for a confrontation?
They might end up fighting after Phil’s warning and coming to blows.
If that’s the case, Kat, who has been attempting to move on with her life, won’t be overly impressed. She and Alfie, however, have a long history together, and she would be heartbroken if something were to happen to him. Could the ongoing conflict turn tragic?
