The 12-year-old daughter of Stacey (Lacey Turner) on EastEnders, Lily Slater, is expecting a child.
This evening’s New Year’s Day episode, which mostly focused on a party at the Slaters’ house, broke the news.
While Freddie (Bobby Brazier) and Alfie (Shane Richie) organized the music, Jean (Gillian Wright) was in her room contemplating her relationship with Harvey (Ross Boatman).
Several characters started displaying symptoms of illness throughout the episode. Lily was throwing up outside, Stacey was having dizzy spells, and then people started collapsing.
Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve (Heather Peace) shared a passionate kiss, but when Eve fell onto Jean’s bed, Suki wasn’t sure what to do.
Jean and Lily had fallen asleep in the living room and hallway as well.
When paramedics first arrived, they assumed it was because of shady alcohol, but after hearing Freddie and Alfie mention that they had been feeling ill for a few days as well, it was determined the family had carbon monoxide poisoning.
Stacey rushed to see Lily in the hospital despite being unharmed by the toxic chemical.
Because of Lily’s stomach cramps, a doctor said, they ran a few more tests, and the results showed something utterly unexpected – she’s pregnant.
We are left with one question as Stacey makes an effort to process the news.
