NATALIE Cassidy looked a far cry from her EastEnders character Sonia as she enjoyed family fun over the festive period.
Over Christmas, the 39-year-old actress posted several pictures of herself kissing her hot partner Marc Humphries.
Natalie, who was dressed entirely in black and looked extremely trim, was raised in Marc’s arms before they posed with their children Eliza and Joanie.
It has been “a lovely Christmas day,” she informed her fans, which is more than can be said about her on-screen presence.
Sonia was at the center of the dramatic Christmas dinner at the Carter’s where Janine was finally defeated.
However, once she meets Jonny Freeman’s portrayal of Reiss Colwell, Dot’s great-nephew, and spent a lovely couple of days with him, things are looking good for her character.
She recently became the owner of Dot’s home and accepted a new position at the clinic, both of which will make her work life much simpler.
Natalie recently remarked of her character: “Let’s be honest, Sonia’s been a bit gloomy, not only unpleasant but she has a lot going on. But life is going to get better.
“Remember that she’s a nurse; she works very hard; Dotty is always on her case; Dot hasn’t been around.
“I feel like it’s going to be a really exciting time [for Sonia] saying goodbye to Dot and having this bright beacon of light [in Reiss] come in.
“I can’t give too much away but with the stuff I’ve been doing lately, I really feel you’re seeing the comedic side of Sonia come back and the light.
“And I really am enjoying that because I haven’t done it in a while and it feels really special.”
