After confirming the birth of his son, Max Bowden received encouragement from his EastEnders co-stars.
The former partner of the Ben Mitchell actor Roisin Buckle gave birth to a son named Reginald Buckle earlier in September, according to a social media post by the actor.
“Love like I’ve never felt before and the greatest feeling in the world. I’ll never get over how it felt when my son first looked me in the eye, “He posted on September 28 to Instagram.
“Congratulations to Roisin for being such a strong first-time mother and adjusting to motherhood like a pro. Heart is overflowing with gratitude and love, and I cannot wait to cherish this little man forever!”
Many of the actor’s EastEnders co-stars, including Honey Mitchell actress Emma Barton, Martin Fowler actor James Bye, and Freddie Slater actor Bobby Brazier, sent their congratulations to him along with heart emojis.
While former castmate Rukku Nahar (aka Habiba Ahmed) offered “huge congratulations” to the new parents, his on-screen estranged husband Tony Clay (aka Callum Highway) posted double heart emojis for his co-star.
After sparking romance rumors with actress Shona McGarty who plays Whitney Dean in a string of flirtatious social media posts back in August, Max is now experiencing a life-altering event.
Fans found the idea of those two falling in love amusing because Ben and Whitney, the characters they play on television, haven’t gotten along well lately. Ben actually made an effort to avert Whitney and Callum’s disastrous wedding a few years ago.
The couple hasn’t formally declared that they are a couple in any way.
